Abolish 153 will be hosting our second GBV prevention training. The training will be catered to our community and will give you the tools you need in recognizing, communicating, dealing, and battling all forms of gender-based violence.

About our trainers
Mary-Justine Todd
A Master’s degree recipient in International Public Health, from New York University, as well as an M.A. in International Studies, from the University of Iowa. She is also a New York State rape crisis counselor, certified from Columbia University Hospitals in New York City. She has been working in women’s health and women’s rights for nearly 10 years, around the world from the USA to various countries in Africa to China and now to the Gulf. She is fluent in English, Swahili, French and is learning Arabic.
Georgie Bradley
Specialized in gender-based violence prevention and has a deep understanding of the Arab culture. A UK national raised in Bahrain. Georgia has B.A. in English and Theater from Hunter College and Queen Mary University of London, as well as an M.A. in Journalism from City University London. She has a strong background in violence response and gender‐based violence.
