Abdullah Al Mudhaf - Suggested adding the restriction of the time limit to process sentences toward offenders who have committed violence against women to three months to the Kuwaiti criminal code.

Osama Al Shaheen - Member of the Women, Family, and Child Committee, and has presented a bill for abolishing article 153 on April 22, 2021.

Saleh Ashour - Previous Women, Family, and Child Committee member, has suggested a law to protect women from domestic violence on March 8, 2018 and a another on January 12, 2017 which also included amendments to family court rulings and criminal sentencing provisions.

DISTRICT 2

Omar Al Tabtabaei - Voted on the family protection law on September 14, 2020. Has also collaborated with Abolish 153 on visual projects about female leadership. Brought attention to NGOs efforts in curbing violence against women during parliament meetings. Has suggested the amendment of article 30 of the penal code to allow women the right to undertake medical decisions for their children without male approval in November 2019.

DISTRICT 3

Yousef Al Fedalah - Submitted a suggestion for a family protection law on March 5, 2018.

Ahmed Al Fadhil - Submitted a suggestion for a family protection law on March 5, 2018.

Safa’ Al Hashem - Women, Family, and Child Committee head when family protection law was instated and a previous MP and had suggested a law protecting women from domestic violence during her term on March 8, 2018. Suggested a law amendment for family courts and criminal sentencing, as well as a new law preventing domestic violence on January 12, 2017. Has launched a project to end article 153 as a member of the Women, Family, and Children Committee.

Dr. Jinan Boushehri - Women, Family and Child Committee member. Previously suggested laws for rights of Kuwaiti women’s non-national children along with 4 other MPs on July 3, 2023. Submitted a suggested amendment on the 2020 family protection law to expedite creation of state shelters on July 3, 2023.

Abdulwahab Al Babtain - Voted on the family protection law on September 14, 2020.

Osama Al Munawer - Previous head of the Women, Family, and Child Committee, proponent for abolishing article 153 and violence against women through the Committee’s agenda.

Dr. Abdulkareem Al Kandari - Women, Family, and Child Committee member, voted on the family protection law on September 14, 2020.

Mohammad Al Dallal - Previous Women, Family, and Child Committee member. Voted on the family protection law on September 14, 2020. Hesham Al Saleh - Spoken outwardly about more strict legal action against perpetrators of femicide and has directed questions to the Ministry of Interior about due diligence toward perpetrators of domestic violence and femicides. He has also presented a bill to abolish article 153 on March 24, 2021.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al Saqubei - Presented a bill to criminalize harassment against women on February 10, 2021, and a bill to abolish article 153 on April 22, 2021. Suggested adding up to a year incarceration and a fee of up to 3000 KWD to those who commit sexual harassment against women to the Kuwaiti criminal code.

Hamad Al Mutar - Presented a bill to abolish article 153 on April 22, 2021.
